The Jersey Fresh Jam is New Jersey’s premiere Hip Hop festival. Since 2005, it has grown from a small, humble event into one the most respected celebrations of Hip Hop culture on the east coast. At the twilight of every summer, aerosol artists from far and wide converge to adorn the walls of Terracycle INC with their signature masterpieces, while local and regionally known emcees, bands, and DJs provide the soundtrack for the days festivities.This event is free and open to the public. Come and share the excitement!

Albus Cavus Presents an CITIFIED: Interactive Experience with East of the Anacostia River Muralists at Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2012

Murals at Folklife Festival 2012:
– present folk art and artists from East of the River DC on national stage.
– discuss artistic trends sprouting from spontaneous creation of individual artists and entire communities east of the Anacostia river.
– examine contemporary visual public art, graffiti and street art in context of folk art.
– connect all DC residents and visiting tourists to East of the River DC through interactive and participatory art.

THURSDAY THROWBACK: “CONCRETE ALCHEMY TOUR..2008”

KASSO and DELVE..along with 13 other artist from the east and west coast were apart of an aersol artists tour called CONCRETE ALCHEMY sponsored by “Albus Cavus”. For two weeks in the spring of 2008, these artists painted 4 large scale murals in 6 days…coinsiding with 3 gallery shows, which spread from NY to Maryland. All of the artwork for the gallery shows was also done on tour.

The integrated methods of S.A.G.E. Collective were seeded on this tour. All the walls were fully integrated and multi layered. SAGE collective philosophy about the intuitive creative process also was founded within “Concrete Alchemy”.

State Theatre’s Hub City Carnivale

Albus Cavus Artists: Luv One, Aja Washington, Will Kasso, and Leon Rainbow created these mural panels for the State Theatre’s Hub City Carnivale in New Brunswick, NJ. The video above shows how the murals were painted. The festival runs from January 28th to February 28th, 2010.
