Klas Reunion

I’ve painted with a lot of people over the years, but always enjoy rockin’ with my long time friend, Klas! I got a lot of love for this dude cuz we hooked up in the mid-90s and partnered up for a while and worked our way up the ranks in Jersey. He always put in a ton of work though and went on to become a Jersey bombing legend and clean train monster! It was always an experience painting with this dude, whether in a yard or at a wall…talking graff, politics or pretty much anything.

That’s why it was so cool to finally get a chance to paint with him after more than 20 YEARS! We decided to go big and rock some big ol’ styled out roller pieces. Felt just like a time machine back to the 90s…a few beers and lots of laughs…or maybe it was the other way around…I can’t remember. Haha!

Love Over Hate

With a global pandemic changing everything, followed by a series of horrific events related to racism in our country, the world seems desperate and divided. It only felt right to paint something that could help inject a little positivity so I went with a “Love Over Hate” message. This one was inspired by my boy, the late Jerome “Cuzo” Gonzalez. I originally painted this phrase as part of his memorial mural in downtown Somerville, NJ.

This time around, I kept it simple and straightforward, but with a little style. Check it out!

Opening Reception:  August 3, 7-9pm

American Steel Forever is a celebration of American train art and culture. This goes back to the early 1900’s with Hobo Monikers, The 1970s-90 with NYC subway graffiti and the 1990s to present with the freight train movement. This exhibit will feature a selection of this rich history.

Beware of Elan!!

Just wrapped up a Halloween production with a bunch of heavy hitters. Waiting on a few people (um…Brainpaste) to finish, but here is my section of the wall. Haha!
