I’ve had an iPad Pro for a few months now, but just starting to really experiment with some of the drawing apps like Adobe Draw and Procreate. Each has it’s purpose, but I can definitely see what the craze is all about. Here are two recent experiments I was playing with. Looking forward to creating more work down the line.

Blackbook Sessions
I haven’t kept a traditional graffiti black book in YEARS! I still draw and sketch just to experiment with letters, but don’t really put in the detail work that a good blackbook really demands. Anyway, I had fun rocking this book for the homie, Die Slow. I might have to go back to my roots and break out the markers more often. Check it out!
Out here actin’ crazy!
¡Viva Cuba Libre!
As a Cuban American who is very proud of his roots, it is an exciting moment for our people. Although the death of Fidel Castro will not bring any big changes for the Cuban people, it is the end of his infamous legacy. One that oppressed and killed anyone that dared to even think about getting in his way of ahead of his agenda. We have a long way to go before the island is liberated, but we are one step closer. ¡Que viva Cuba libre!
Carrie Fisher, rest in peace…
Damn, another childhood staple taken away this year. I just watched Star Wars Rogue One and it ends with a short cameo by Princess Leia. As I am walking out of the theater I hear of the passing of Carrie Fisher. Sad moment. In any case, I had to do a little drawing to honor a character (and the actress that brought her to life) that was such a big part of my youth. Rest in peace.
Some like it hot!
Whenever I travel, I like to pick one of the paintings or frames in my hotel room and vandalize the back side with my own drawing and put it back up on the wall. I just like the idea of someone at some point coming across it. In any case, here is the latest in my ritual. This one is dedicated to the super hot region of Punta Cana, DR.
