I’ve been a little out of touch lately, so just wanted to get back and show some sketches and slaps I’ve done over the last few months. Check it out!
It’s been a busy summer for me, but glad I got a chance to squeeze in a quick session at the annual Arts on Division event in Somerville, NJ. Gotta give a big shout out to Jerome and the whole Arts on Division team. Had a great time gettin’ down with the homies BrainPaste, Mimik, Cuzo, Jenna Morello, Rain, Gent and others.
I haven’t kept a traditional graffiti black book in YEARS! I still draw and sketch just to experiment with letters, but don’t really put in the detail work that a good blackbook really demands. Anyway, I had fun rocking this book for the homie, Die Slow. I might have to go back to my roots and break out the markers more often. Check it out!
I worked up this new Hello My Name Is wood panel for an upcoming show at the WOSA Lab this Friday. Got inspired to take it back to the Nintendo days with this Super Mario Bros. themed piece. Check it out! And if you are in the Central Jersey area tomorrow, come by the WOSA Lab (@wosalab), swing by. You can check out their flyer here.
As a Cuban American who is very proud of his roots, it is an exciting moment for our people. Although the death of Fidel Castro will not bring any big changes for the Cuban people, it is the end of his infamous legacy. One that oppressed and killed anyone that dared to even think about getting in his way of ahead of his agenda. We have a long way to go before the island is liberated, but we are one step closer. ¡Que viva Cuba libre!
